Pastor Kara

Senior Pastor

I have the great privilege and honor to introduce you to the love of my life, my wife Kara. Someone once said that behind every good man is an even better woman. I personally know this to be true. I have the great joy of telling you a little bit about this wonderful woman, mother, pastor, teacher, friend, role model and mentor.

Kara was born in Warren Ohio where she lived until the time she graduated High School. At the age of 18 Kara ventured off to attend RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa Oklahoma to be prepared for the work of the ministry. However, this was not the beginning of her training for ministry. That actually began at a very young age. Kara has always had a deep passion and love for God and sensed the call of God on her life early on. She grew up at Believers' Christian Fellowship where she learned the Word of God and faithfully served in many areas of the church. Kara has always looked for an outlet to help people. Whether that was working in youth group or volunteering at the local hospital, Kara always wanted to make a difference in people's lives.

I met Kara while working for Kenneth Hagin Ministries. She was a new student at Rhema Bible Training Center and a new employee in the department where I worked. I asked her out on a date and fell in love with her as we ate cannelloni and manicotti at the Spaghetti Warehouse in downtown Tulsa, OK.

Oftentimes I stand in awe of how Kara is able to do everything she does. She is an amazing mother to our two children, Mariah and Michael. A loving wife to me and is the epicenter of the everyday functioning of the church. She wears many hats but excels at all of them. She loves to scrapbook but rarely has the time.

On top of all this, she is an excellent teacher of the Word of God. No matter what obstacles life presented, whether that has been at school, home life or in the work force, Kara always stayed faithful to God and His Word and as a result He has shown Himself faithful to her. From these experiences and her deep understanding of the Word of God, she is able to minister from a depth of wisdom and understanding that brings true life to people. This is a true saying; behind this man is a better woman. I could go on forever about everything that she means to our church and me. However, the best thing to do is to meet her for yourself. She is the cute one standing next to me.
